What’s your Mission?
I have quite a few tools from a company called iFixit. They sell parts and tools for fixing lots of things (mostly cell phones) you’re not supposed to fix.
They don’t just sell teensy weird screwdrivers and spudgers, though; their mission is nothing less than “Teach the world to fix every single thing.”
And part of that mission is their Manifesto, demanding nothing less than the right, the tools, the information, and the parts to repair all our devices. “If you can’t fix it, you don’t own it.”
I respect the heck out of that.
So what’s your credit union’s Mission? What’s your outrageous never-gonna-happen master moonshot (or mars shot) goal, and what outrageous principles, beliefs, and actions are going to get you there?
Make it bold. Simple. Outrageous. Dangerous and disruptive. Think big. Then think bigger.
